A Journey That Changed The World
Chapter 1374 1374: Does It Harm The Eggs?Archer was being led deep into the Bloodmaw Colony as he spotted dozens of Warriors lingering around the entrance. While walking, Circe spoke with a big smile. ”I’ve had to assign more children here to protect the workers. Those other monsters are annoying.”
”Who’s been attacking you?” Evelina curiously questioned.
Circe glanced at the rabbit woman, answering with a smile. ”The Ripper and Nightmare Ants. They’ve become a nightmare, now we’re being attacked by those annoying crabs.”
Archer chuckled when he heard this, but he reassured her. ”I’ll put a stop to the wars for a while. The Monarchs have been fighting for too long now, some rest will do you good.”
The black-haired beauty beamed at his words while grabbing his arm and pushing her big boobs against his atm. This action caused Evelina to giggle. She quickly teased. ”Looks like you’re not tired of chasing beautiful woman, husband.”
”There’s nothing wrong with it thanks to Time Warp,” he replied with a charming smile.
When the brown-skinned beauty heard this, her cheeks went darker, prompting Archer to kiss her. The rabbit woman’s muscular body stiffened at his touch but quickly reciprocated the affection.
Following that, Circe led them to the first chamber, sweetly explaining. ”This is the test chamber. As you know, I have the common Warrior Broodmaw, then the Guardians, but this lot is my attempt at a flying type.”
His brows arched with intrigue, a spark of curiosity igniting in his violet eyes as he spoke, his voice tinged with eager wonder. ”May I touch one, please?”
”Of course, master,” she responded with a smile. ”There’s no need to ask me; they are your soldiers.”
Afterward, Archer drew closer to the nearest clutch of eggs, his curiosity piqued as he realized they weren’t the flying Broodmaw variety but ordinary Warriors instead. ‘I wonder why they aren’t mutating?”
His eyes narrowed thoughtfully, and with a surge of mana channeled into them, he uncovered a surprising truth: he held the power to influence their evolution. This was surprising to him.
Once he discovered this, he stood in the middle of the chamber, letting his power flow over everything. When Circe saw this, her smile grew wide as she questioned. ”What are you doing, master? I can sense their getting stronger and more lively.”
”Send me a worker,” Archer requested, surprising the older woman.
The queen listened, her face breaking into a wide smile as she emitted a chittering sound. Moments later, an innocent-looking Broodmaw appeared beside her. Its glossy black eyes fixed on him as he spoke, extending the egg toward it.
”Here, this is a flying type,” he said with a focused expression. ”I’ve transformed all these eggs, but they need special care. Can you do this, little one?”
When the little creature heard this, it bobbed its hand and gently took the egg before rushing off. More workers appeared from the shadows, shocking Evelina as they rushed past her to tend to their duties.
”I didn’t know you treated them kindly,” Circe commented from behind with a big smile. ”It’s nice to see this side of you.”
Archer glanced back at the two women. ”Yes, I care for you Monarchs. You’re just like me and not human but living in your second form.”
After that, the trio headed to Circe’s house, where she greeted them with a warm smile. ”Come in and rest,” she said invitingly. ”The storm’s cold air will sweep through the tunnels soon; it gets chilly.”
”Interesting. Does it harm the eggs?” he questioned.
The Broodmaw Queen nodded with a grimace. ”Yes, we lose so many eggs it’s heartbreaking.”
Archer closed his eyes and poured his mana into the Domain to warm up the Monarch’s colonies. He blocked out the snow, wind, and rain. When Circe and Evelina saw this, their eyes widened in surprise.
”Why do you copy the outside weather?” the rabbit beauty questioned as she appeared beside him.
”I don’t know, but I’ve always done it,” he answered. ”Now all the colonies will heat up quickly and the cold will be kept out.”
At his words, Circe scanned her home, only to realize it was still hot. She looked at him with a big smile and sparkling gleam in her black eyes as she approached and quickly gave him a tight hug.
”Thank you, master!” she exclaimed with an excited expression.
Archer chuckled and returned the gesture as the worker rushed up to him. It started chittering in a panic, suddenly grabbing his hand. The little creature led him through he tunnels while the two women followed behind.
Evelina turned to the Broodmaw Queen and questioned. ”Why do they seem drawn to him? All your Workers are staring at him like he’s some kind of god.”
Circe giggled before revealing. ”Because he is one my friend. The reason we’re here is because of our master and his power.”
The rabbit woman grew even more curious, but they fell silent when the duo arrived at the next chamber. Archer was crouched in front of a clutch of eggs while sending his mana into them.
This sudden scene caught their attention. ”What are you doing now, master?” Circe questioned.
”These young ones are ready to hatch, but I stopped it so I can turn them into flying Broodmaws,” he answered without looking back.
When the queen heard this, her eyes widened as a beautiful smile appeared on her pretty face. Evelina was the one to speak. ”How are you doing the work of the gods, husband? How is that even possible?”
Archer let out a chuckle as he replied. ”I’m not quite there yet, Eve, but I’m close. To answer your question, I am one within the Domain. The only thing beyond my reach is creating life, something that requires a soul.”
The two women watched, captivated, as he turned back to the eggs and channeled his mana into them, subtly altering the tiny creatures within. When he finished, he rose to his feet and stretched, a faint crack echoing from his back.
”They should hatch any moment now, Circe,” Archer said with a grin. ”Just wait until you see them, gorgeous, you’re going to be amazed.”
Moments later, a cracking noise could be heard, prompting the eggs to break open as tiny mantis-like creatures stepped out. When the Broodmaw Queen saw this, she got excited and quickly rushed over to scoop one up.
She stood next to him while admiring the monster before four wings appeared behind it as it floated into the air. Circe trembled with happiness and suddenly grabbed his cheeks and gave him a passionate kiss.
Archer reciprocated while holding her curvy waist. Seconds later, they separated as the queen spoke with a radiant smile. ”Thank you for the help, master. I’ve been trying to improve upon the Broodmaws to help in battle.”
”Oh, they are certainly helpful,” he reassured with a confident expression. ”I’ve used them in every battle I’ve been involved in, and they’re protecting Maeve, Talila, Ashoka, and Inara over on Placidia.”
Circe nodded, turning her attention to the eggs as Archer chuckled and bid his farewells. He clasped Evelina’s hand and teleported them to the entrance of the Nightmare Cave Spoder colony, startling the rabbit woman beside him.
”Why is this place giving me a creepy feeling, husband?” she asked while her red eyes scanned their surroundings.
Archer smiled before pointing at a nearby tree. ”Focus on the branches, Eve; you’ll get your answer,” he informed.
Before the young woman could utter a word, an odd, resonant noise rippled through the clearing, vibrating deep in his chest. His head whipped around, eyes narrowing; he’d never felt anything quite like it before.
Evelina’s trembled prompting her to grab his arm while quietly asking. ”What’s going on Arch?”
As the words left her lips, red eyes appeared from the treeline as a sasquatch-like monster stepped out but they looked evil. They were giving off an eerie feeling but were easily as strong as Demi-Gods.
‘What are these creatures?’ he thought.
Seconds later, Archer summoned a Shadow Creature, who quickly explained that the monsters came from Placidia and were hard to capture. These creatures worried him as they could attack any of the girls.
After coming to this conclusion he sent a message to the harem members trapped in the Domain asking if they’ve been attacked. Moments later, Demacia and Teuila appeared next to him, using their tattoos.
”Yes, these eerie, hairy men lurk just beyond our home,” the necromancer explained. ”They steer clear now, ever since your Stone Guardians pulverized them when they tried to ambush me while I was tending the garden.”
Archer nodded before speaking out loud. ”You’re welcome to attack them Aeliana, no need to hide in the shadows.”
Just then, a massive spider appeared, surrounded by a sea of smaller ones, causing the sasquatch creatures to back off, but the newcomers pounced. The creepy monsters didn’t stand a chance as the arachnids dragged them down to the ground.
”Keep some alive,” he ordered with glowing violet eyes. ”I want to eat their souls to see what I can find out about them.”
