A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1407: Pull Them Back Right Now!

Archer watched the Giant Ape beg for its life, making him grin. ’’Serve me and you can live; otherwise, it’s death,’’ he offered.

Just then, Brooke appeared and gave him a tight hug as he spoke. ’’Thank you for helping me. I believe the Terravian are targeting you girls because they’ve figured they can’t get to me thanks to my magic.’’

The older woman kissed him, channeling a pulse of mana that eased his tension. As he leaned back, she reassured him. ’’We’ll defeat them. Don’t worry, just pull them back to the Domain if anything goes wrong.’’

When Archer heard this, he nodded in agreement while turning to the Giant Ape, whose determined voice echoed in his mind. ’I’ll serve you dragon, I attacked your mate so Its the least I can do.’

’’Good,’’ he replied with a knowing grin. ’’Now go get others of your kind, I have a good home for you, but I’ll need to bring your food into the Domain. What do you eat?’’

Moments later, the Giant Ape answered. ’Megaloberries, they grow in the jungle at the base of the mountains.’

Archer summoned his Shadow Creatures before ordering. ’’Bring me these berries and capture even more monsters.’’

Following that, the monsters vanished into the shadows as they spread out across the ancient jungle. Once that was done, Brooke questioned with a curious tone. ’’Why do you keep bringing in more beasts? The Domain is full of them.’’

’’Numbers my love,’’ he revealed. ’’The beings behind the Terravian have many worlds behind them with an uncountable number of soldiers that can be used against us. If I were to just use the legions, so many people would die that it would be the end of Thrylos.’’

Brooke’s eyes widened in shock at his words, but he continued. ’’If I can increase the number of my monster armies, then the difference shouldn’t be too bad.’’

’’That makes sense,’’ she said with a nod. ’’I’ll go check on Maeve, Ashoka, and Inara. I know that lioness is tough, but the Terravians are something different.’’

Moments later, the mature beauty kissed him before vanishing back to the Domain as he was left with the Giant Ape, who rushed off to find its tribe. While that happened, he felt the Shadow Realm being filled up with massive berries and all kinds of monsters.

Archer took out the monster’s food, and it was a massive berry half his size, causing him to mumble. ’’I could grow these in the southern part. These apes will be useful in the war.’’

Just then, the Giant Ape appeared with a dozen of its kind and more following behind. He opened a portal to the Domain. ’’Go through and make a home for yourselves. You’ll be safe here, but just know, other creatures will try to attack.’’

The one he beat into submission stepped into the realm and was shocked when it felt the pure mana, and the trees were much bigger than it. He chuckled at the scene as the other beasts entered.

Moments later, the leader turned to him with its dark red eyes before its voice sounded in his mind. ’Thank you for this master, this place is amazing.’

’’Yes, I created this place to keep monsters here for my armies,’’ he replied.

Following that, Archer watched the Giant Apes making their home at the bottom of the southern mountain range that borders the desert. Once that was done, he started growing fields of the Megaloberries.

When the monsters saw this, their red eyes widened in shock as the babies started eating more. He chuckled before creating even more berries that the Shadows brought back from Titanbloom Berry, Moonkraken Berry, and many more.

Archer stayed there was a while before closing his eyes and repairing the damage from the Mana Storm. The ground shook, scaring the apes, but when they saw trees appearing around them and blocking their home from the outside.

The leader roared in happiness, followed by his women, which made him chuckle just as he teleported to Emberport City, only to see people cleaning up the streets that were covered in debris.

Legionnaires and Homeguards repaired the buildings, amazing the Fire Elf citizens who were offering hot drinks to the soldiers. Archer was pleased with their, just as Fianna appeared behind him, wrapped in a nightgown.

’’Hello, handsome,’’ she greeted him with a warm smile. ’’What brings you here?’’

’’Checking on the new lands since the Mana Storm hit,’’ he answered while hugging the older woman.

Archer let go and pulled out some ale; he offered some to her before responding. ’’Going to stick around Avidia for the end of winter thanks to the Alliance and Terravians’ sneak attacks on the girls.’’

The blonde nodded and revealed something that caught his attention. ’’Yes, I’ve been meaning to tell you, but the Homeguard have reported that more monsters are attacking patrols, we’ve lost about a dozen soldiers during the ambushes along the quieter parts of the road.’’

’’Interesting,’’ he muttered and asked. ’’Could you inform me when the next report comes in? I’ll send a swarm of Burrowfiends to hunt whoever is doing this.’’

Fianna smiled. ’’It isn’t the Fire Elves, the survivors say their tall, gaunt humanoids that slink out of the darkness,’’ she replied.

He reassured the striking woman. ’’I’ll handle it and return to Draconia soon.’’

’’Thank you,’’ the blonde replied, pulling him toward her bed where they lost themselves in passion.

When they finished, Fianna lay asleep, a contented smile gracing her beautiful face, while he sat thoughtfully on the bed’s edge. Following that, he stood up and got dressed before tucking her in.

Once Archer finished making sure she was comfortable, he teleported to the main road just outside Emberport City. When he reappeared, he summoned hundreds of Burrowfiends that stepped out of the Domain.

They knelt in respect as he ordered. ’’Cull the number of monsters and capture anything behind this.’’

A loud clicking sound could be heard before the humanoid insects rushed off toward the nearby forest. He watched as they vanished into the darkness, as Ella and Teuila appeared from a portal.

Spotting the two women, Archer grinned, greeting them with kisses and warm embraces. The blue-haired beauty spoke. ’’We’re here for some fresh air and to see how you’ve transformed Avidia since winter set in.’’

’’Would my beauty’s like a tour?’’ he offered with a charming smile that caused them to blush.

Ella nodded. ’’Yes, please, Arch,’’ she said with an excited expression.

Archer used Mana Manipulation to create a platform with comfortable chairs for them to relax. Just then, rain started, causing him to cast Cosmic Shield while warning. ’’If Terravians attack, I’ll be sending the entire harem to the Domain, apart from a few who will help me defend Draconia.’’

When the women heard this, they looked concerned as Teuila questioned. ’’What’s going on, Arch? Is it true their targeting us?’’

’’The Terravians are actively targeting my loved ones,’’ he revealed with a sigh. ’’I’m considering pulling everyone back to Draconia, well, it’s only Fianna, Demetra, Kassandra, and Nyx who are exploring Plouria.’’

’’Pull them back right now!’’ Ella exclaimed.

Archer’s senses flared as a view of the Chaos Dragon appeared as she was flying over the Southlands, and hundreds of their kind appeared. They tried to attack the shocked Nyx, but he pulled her to him.

The tattoo flared to life as the dragon woman materialized in his arms as he gave the others an order. ’’Dem! Kass! Retreat behind the Death Mist right now! The Terravians are on top of you both!’’

Following that, he sent Teuila and Ella back before teleporting to Fianna’s rooms as three assassins appeared. Without mercy, Archer cast a Mana Blast into one, seconds after that, he bit the throat of another as Valariana appeared from a portal.

The blonde’s fist slammed against the last enemy as he sent the blonde to the Domain, and he sent a message to the entire harem. ’’No one is allowed to leave Draconia! The enemies are trying to kill you, women, and I won’t let them achieve their goal.’’

Just then, Archer remembered Olivia and the 1st Fleet on the island in the far south. He instantly teleported to the white-haired woman who was sitting on the bridge, gazing out to the entrance of a bay.

She turned to him with a warm smile. ’’Hello, love. What brings you back here?’’

’’Has there been any attacks?’’ he inquired with narrowed eyes as he sent a wave of mana out, only to sense nothing.

’Huh? They targeted the others? But not Liv?’ Archer thought.

Olivia answered after a few seconds. ’’No, there hasn’t been anything handsome, the sailors are resting.’’

A chilling dread surged through them, gripping their hearts with icy fear. Archer’s pulse thundered, but he steeled himself and spoke with grave resolve. ’’I’m sending you and the fleet to the Domain. Warn the others, do not come for me. This enemy is unlike anything we’ve faced. Not even Brooke or Ari can stand against it.’’
