Chapter 1877: Return To The Aurora Continent

Martha did not expect Klaus and the others to come, after hearing the reason they came, she was happy her son was able to make such great friends. The fact that they came to the Dawson Manor in search of Grey showed they cared about him. She did not hide his whereabouts from them, informing them of his training in the small world deep in the Magical Beast’s Forest.

“He was invited by Dragons?” Klaus could not believe his ears. They knew of the existence of Dragons and have even seen them a few times. There was even a Dragon in the Dawson Manor at the moment, the one Grey left with Cory. Seeing a Dragon and being invited by one is completely different, especially after hearing that the Dragon that allowed Grey into the small world is actually a top expert at the Half God Plane.

Martha chuckled seeing Klaus’ expression, not just Klaus, Alice and Reynolds also could not believe their ears. This was a shocking revelation to them. She told them what happened and how Grey got to meet the Dragon. When they heard how Grey met the Dragons, they understood how he was able to have some ties with the Dragons.

“Didn’t he take something from the Vaergahl Family?” Alice said worriedly. They knew of Grey’s dragon scales and how he was able to get that ability, it was due to accidentally taking something from the Vaergahl Family, which caused a serious issue with Ellis’ Family at the time.

“They are not aware of that, he should have no problems with hiding it from them.” Klaus was not worried the Vaergahl Family would have any problems with Grey. When Grey was weaker he would have been afraid, if even he is already powerful enough to exchange blows with some Ninth stage Sovereigns, he was certain that Grey would not only defeat Ninth stage Sovereigns, even Peak Sovereigns might not be too far from his reach.

Alice nodded, she knew her worry was just from the fear that the Vaergahl Family might want Grey to pay for what he took from them. Klaus’ words put her mind to rest, she also knew that Grey was wise enough not to show those from the Vaergahl Family he had dragon scales.

The trio stayed with Grey’s mother a little longer before visiting Cory, they knew this little girl was brought back by Grey some years back, seeing her now, they were all shocked. She was already in the Late stages of the Venerable Plane, and at this rate, she would become a Sovereign in a short time. She was not even up to fifteen years old yet, but she was already close to the Sovereign Plane. They thought Grey was a freak, but Cory shattered their worldview.

At fifteen, even Grey was not an Origin Plane Elementalist, much less a Sage Plane Elementalist, yet Cory, who is not even fifteen yet is already in the Late stages of the Venerable Plane. She was not the only one who was advancing rapidly, even the Dragon by her side was growing at the shocking speed. This Dragon is even younger than Cory, but taking into account that it was a special Magical Beast, they did not think too much of it, besides, it had not grown to the level of Cory yet.

They decided to stay around the City where the Dawson Manor was located. Grey’s mother invited them to stay there while waiting for Grey, telling them he would return within the month, but Klaus wanted to move freely in the City so he declined, saying they would return when Grey comes back.

Martha naturally has no reason to keep them there, telling them to take care of themselves.

Klaus and the others looked at each other with a wry smile, they thought they would be able to meet up with Grey after finding out his whereabouts, but his location is a place they did not dare to trespass without invitation, Martha made sure to warn them about this too when she told them of Grey’s location.

“What should we do now?” Reynolds asked, their initial plan was to locate Grey, but now they knew they could not go in search of him. Nonetheless, they were relieved to know that he was in no danger.

“Why don’t we visit Kyle? It’s been a long time since we saw him.” Alice suggested. Since coming to the Aurora Continent, they’ve each made friends, but Kyle is the first friend they all made in the Aurora Continent. The last time they met up with Kyle was a few years ago when they entered a secret world opened by the number one light element Faction at the time. Since leaving that place, they have not really had too many chances to meet up with him.

Hearing Kyle’s name, they all could not help but reminisce about their first time in the Aurora Continent. Unlike Grey who came here on his own for a few months before bringing them here, that was their first time in the vast Aurora Continent, so their first friend is someone they can not really forget.

“That’s a great idea, I wonder how he’s going?” Reynolds was in support of them visiting Kyle. He brought out his communication device and tried to reach out to him. They knew Kyle was not from a Faction, but rather part of a powerful Family. His Family is not as strong as the Dawson Family, but they were still fairly strong compared to the overall strength of the Aurora Continent.

After confirming his whereabouts from him, the group took off, all heading in the same direction.

A human figure shot out from a portal, crashing into the ground heavily, the figure tried to stand up, but ended up coughing a mouthful of blood.

On closer inspection, a small black cat and pure white bunny could be seen sprawling on the ground beside this figure. This figure is naturally Grey, and he was currently injured, bloodied all over.
