Thomas Lysvand riled up when he heard Tang Shaoyang’s refusal. The thought that he was just a toy in God’s eyes stirred him up.

“I don’t care if it’s a game or entertainment or even if I am just a toy to them as long as I have control of my own decisions, my life, and my body. As long as they don’t harm me or my family or my empire, then I have no reason to fight them.”

Tang Shaoyang shrugged. If he was being controlled and forced to make a decision that he did not want to, then he would also revolt and fight back. But he did not feel like he was being controlled, and he was fine because his life journey was entertainment for God.

The emperor canceled his domain as he changed his mind. He had set a new goal for himself, crushing Tang Shaoyang. His new goal would start with Tang Shaoyang’s family, and he was not worried that Tang Shaoyang would become even more powerful because he was confident that if the three emperors worked together, they would kill Tang Shaoyang no matter how strong Tang Shaoyang was.

The reason he canceled his domain was to make a portal back to the Void Realm. He did not plan to continue the fight as he was driven by a different motivation right now. A portal formed to his right, and he was about to say his farewell but his portal crumbled.

Thomas furrowed his brow and tried to make a second portal, but his second attempt ended with the same result. Before even the portal got into his size, it crumbled. His third and fourth attempts ended in the same way, and when he tried his fifth attempt, he could not even make a portal anymore. As if there was something that prevented him from making a portal.

“It’s quite disappointing that an emperor that is feared by many tries to run away.”

Thomas looked up and found the fallen angel. He quickly realized it was the fallen angel who disturbed his portal. His figure blurred into shadow and tried to kill the fallen angel in a surprise attack, but then the woman in dragon transformation appeared between him and the fallen angel.

He was still two meters away from the woman, but his swords were frozen, and they spread out to his hand. When he sensed the cold, his eyes widened in shock. He had no choice but to release his sword and flew backward.

Thomas landed on the ground on his feet, but he was greeted by a fist that was covered in golden crimson fire. The fist hit his face, sending him flying. His nose broke, and he could hear his skull crack, but it was nothing serious for someone like him. The problem was that his head was dizzy for a moment as he failed to stop the impact in time.

The moment his head cleared up, he saw Tang Shaoyang before his face. Tang Shaoyang caught his head with both his hands in mid-air, and he could feel the destructive force.

Thomas was in pain as he realized that Tang Shaoyang attempted to destroy his head. He roared and kicked Tang Shaoyang in the belly with all his force. His kick was strong, but the grasp on his head was even stronger. He ended up snapping his neck, his body flung backward, and Tang Shaoyang was still holding his head.The head popped out as the blood and juices flew all over.

Tang Shaoyang looked at the body because he did not hear a killing notification, meaning Thomas was still alive. Thomas’ headless body was still standing, and in the following, another head popped out. Getting his head ripped apart and crushed did not kill Thomas, it meant they used a specific method to kill Thomas, and he wanted to preserve the body for the sacrifice.

“Do you know how to kill that thing without destroying the body?” Tang Shaoyang asked Vandir. The necromancer might have a way to kill something like Thomas.

“You can’t kill me! I am immortal! I am a God!” Thomas bellowed as he sent a new command to his army of void creatures. The command was simple, overwhelm Tang Shaoyang while he got rid of the fallen angel.

The Void Creatures who had been ignoring Tang Shaoyang, swarmed toward him. Even the void creatures in front of the frontier turned around, rushing back.

Of course, Tang Shaoyang also used his spirit to block the void creatures. Khaya brought Kiara, Nandra, Salia, Castor, and Anne to help as well. Avyn stayed next to Zara because she knew Thomas would go for Zara who blocked the portal.

“I don’t know. I haven’t really experimented with a void creature before. Let’s just get rid of the body instead of taking the risk.” Vandir shook his head.

Tang Shaoyang and Vandir turned toward Karoen, surprised at how Karoen knew how to kill Thomas Lysvand. He furrowed his brow when he remembered Karoen’s title, Void Knight. The title did not change even after Karoen agreed to advance to High Archaic Spirit.

“Yes, I am a native of the Void Realm, and I know the Void Cult. In fact, it was them who killed me, destroyed my kingdom, and killed the king whom I served.”
