Divine Emperor of Death

Fairy Runalise thought, but she didn't fail to react. She was already upon them, moments away from severing Davis's head that popped out to the side as he tried to gain distance.

"So it's a mere marking technique…"

Davis's expression was blank as he uttered.

Fairy Runalise didn't fall for the provocation and swung her silver sword. It swung in a clear arc, cutting Davis's head. The blade of her silver sword was filled with extreme power from her soul force. She had even sacrificed her soul essence to use a Divine Technique.

"Effortless Soul Sundering Severance~"

Fairy Runalise saw the head flying as she placed her foot on the ground and landed. Instantly, she made a mincemeat of that head without even looking. Her sword art was put on display as one could barely see a slash made.

Her wrist danced, and the sword swayed incredibly fast, causing blood to flow.

It was over in a second, so when she turned to look at the body, her expression changed as it did not seem to be wearing a purple robe but a white robe.

"Wahh, you're so ruthless."

He seemed to be floating, with one leg appearing utterly crushed. It was a mangled mess of bones and blood crushed together. But other than that, he seemed to be fine, except the spear was missing.

"Finish him! I got this!"

Heaven's Warrior seemed to hold Lancelot tightly. It was lodged in his chest and pierced all the way to the back. However, he didn't let it go.

Fairy Runalise clenched her teeth.

She couldn't tell how her Divine Technique missed. Otherwise, she felt that would've been a sure kill, as no one had survived her Divine Technique. When she glanced at the corpse, her heart shuddered as she knew the aura. It was someone she knew as an acquaintance, meaning he was one of the Heaven's Warriors who was killed recently in Verdant Vale Lower Realm.

At the same time, she saw the Divine Emperor of Death no longer had a tracing mark on his forehead. She found it horrifying that he transferred it to that corpse at a brief moment. How did he do it?

The tracing mark and the Divine Technique were what made that attack nearly impossible to dodge.

"So, how did it feel to sever a fellow Heaven's Warriors' head and make a mincemeat out of him?"

"You…" Fairy Runalise seemed to be trembling, looking like she was unable to withstand the provocation.

Davis vaguely had a smile on his face.

He didn't seem to be taking this fight seriously.

"You will die a horrible death." She cursed him and lifted up her sword again.

"Sure." Davis seemed to agree before he raised his hand, "Lancelot, that's enough. Come back."

*Bzzz!~*

The chaotic-attributed spear that was merely pulled by Davis's strength now seemed to rumble with an intense amount of power. It caused Heaven's Warrior Yubin to shudder and spit a mouthful of blood.

His internal organs seemed to be attacked by chaotic energy. It was unknown to him, so he let it go, not wanting to receive more of its energy.

Lancelot thrummed as it pierced out of Heaven's Warrior Yubin and made it back to Davis's hand.

As it came back, Davis's life energy soared out from his soul to his leg, causing the mangled mess of a leg to tremble heavily before it twisted and churned, setting itself right and regenerating back to a healthy shape in a matter of seconds.

He summoned a new pair of footwear and seemingly checked its comfortability.

"…"

There were two more seconds of silence before Davis's voice resounded out.

"What's wrong? Did you two actually think that was enough to kill me? You two do realize that even Autarch Elluro Coldwing couldn't kill me after he killed me, right?"

Davis didn't hide anything. He asked them with a doubtful expression on his face, wondering if they knew the whole story.

However, they were unresponsive.

"Alright, if you're not coming to me, then I'll come to you."

Davis warned before making a step forward.

The spear shuddered ever so lightly. The air grew thick with an oppressive might as different types of energies gathered at the tip of the spear.

A jagged arc of crimson-silver lightning crackled into existence, twisting and writhing as though alive. It emitted a high-pitched hum that sent chills through the surroundings. In the same instant, wisps of dark crimson flickered into existence. Along with the lightning, the light they cast was eerie as the area was plunged into darkness ever so lightly.

However, it wasn't the end.

A third type of energy appeared at the spear tip.

Razor-sharp blades of translucent crimson-jade wind blades spinning calmly appeared. These blades emitted a low, haunting whistle that signaled the end of an untoward scenario.

Together, the three energies began to converge. The annihilative lightning spiraled into the core, forming a crackling nucleus-like structure, and annihilative flames followed suit and coiled around it, billowing with an intense temperature. Finally, the annihilative wind encased them both, combining into a terrifying black-golden piercing vortex.

Davis's eyes glowed under the annihilative dark crimson light as he looked at the monstrosity he created.

'To think it isn't even fusion…'

Davis's heart shook. It made him wonder if Obliteration Laws were really just a Top-Tier Supreme Law, as its attack power was way too much than what he had seen from Destruction Laws. Even in its combination form, it matched it.

He couldn't help but smile before he looked at the two Heaven's Warriors who were scared to attack him.

"This is the combination of three different annihilative heavenly properties: fire, lightning, and wind."

Davis moved the spear with ease while the spear tip was still encased by the powerful black-golden vortex that radiated an otherworldly dark crimson light as though heralding the end.

"I hope you two are powerful enough to receive it. Here I come."

Davis took a step forward and rushed, causing Heaven's Warrior Yubin and Fairy Runalise to be alarmed. They didn't retreat and attacked Davis at the same time as they launched their attacks.
