Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 2772 - 2772: Sword Domain

The glints of light surrounding Alex, that were his Sword Qi, were visible to everyone. They formed around him like a rainstorm, causing everyone to be wary of what it was.

Not a single person here had seen a Sword Domain in their entire life, so none knew what they were looking at.

The sect leader was far too ignorant of it to be scared. So, he gave out the order, same as the Grand Elder did.

“Kill him!”

Many people rushed toward Alex, each one wanting to be the person to kill him.

Alex had a very slowed reaction speed, so he did nothing. He simply waited for the people to come to him. When they did, they were immediately lacerated by the waves and waves of Sword Qi around his domain.

Alex had two sets of Sword Qi.

The first set was one that came from his sword. It was formed from his Intent to never stop and keep moving forward.

The second set came from the technique he created, back when it was still nameless. It was his intent to have the attack be so thin that it was practically invisible, making everything it touched cut that much easier.

His Sword Domain formed from the second set of Qi, making them impossibly thin and that much more dangerous. Worse, it didn’t pierce the people, it cut them.

So the moment they entered his Sword Domain, many started losing chunks of their body parts. Some even lost entire limbs. Many fell in pain, the lacerations growing even more.

Those who didn’t get away from his domain in time were left dead at his feet.

And then Alex moved.

With each step, more were wounded. More blood wet the earth.

There was no reaction needed for his domain. It was something that was always up around him, making it difficult for anyone getting close to attack him. With a 3-meter radius around him, not many could fight.

“Step back!” someone shouted, but Alex didn’t pay attention to anyone else. His eyes were focused on one person to begin with.

He dashed suddenly, leaving behind a crater as he propelled forward. He slashed long before he arrived at the location, timing perfectly as his reaction was delayed.

The Grand Elder quickly swung back as well, using all of his might to defend himself.

Alex used all of his Intent at the moment to put as much weight as he could behind his attack. So when the swing landed, the Grand Elder wasn’t cut by the sword at all.

He was obliterated.

The man was torn into pieces, the chunks flying all throughout the sect. It was difficult to say that he even died.

He simply stopped existing.

Alex turned after the Grand Elder was gone, taking not even a moment to take in what he had done and turned toward the rest. Without a word, he went for the others.

The sect leader and various other elders came to fight him. They entered his Sword Domain, but it failed to do much to them. Unlike their disciples, their body cultivation was high enough that the Sword Qi in his domain weren’t that effective against their bodies.

It merely left behind some scratches. It would take him far too long to kill them with his domain alone.

Alex tried to fight against the newcomers, but his reaction was still far too delayed to do anything. He could maybe learn a person’s pattern and fight back if they were the only one. But he was being attacked from all sides, so he couldn’t fight so easily.

He tried to push back against the array, but there were too many people employing it at once, thousands at the very least. Those were too many people for him to fight back against while also focusing on the battle in front of him.

He dodged what he could and took hits when he couldn’t. His entire body was covered in blood armor, so he could take a lot of hits without it hurting his body. At the same time, when the armor was damaged, he could just repair it with his blood.

If he ran out of blood, he could create more with his Qi.

So as far as Alex was concerned, so long as he had Qi, he could continue fighting.

However, he didn’t just want to fight. He didn’t just want to survive. He wanted to kill these people.

For that, he would need to start with the ones that were running the array: the disciples and the elders that were staying at a distance.

The sect leaders and the stronger elders would not let him leave the area, but that didn’t matter.

Alex looked toward a group standing next to the broken outer walls of the sect and swung his sword. He released a sword strike that flew toward them.

The moment it flew out of the 3-meter range, the attack weakened severely. However, he didn’t need it to kill them. He just needed to distract them.

Besides, with how strong his Sword Intent was, even weakened, the sword strike would still hurt the weaker ones a lot.

As soon as the sword strike landed on the group, they reeled back in pain, some moving away to not get hit.

The tiny bit of chaos gave Alex hope as he felt the pressure on his body from the array lowering by quite a degree. If he continued to do that, he could weaken the array even further.

Alex fought against the array to give himself more speed. With the speed, he swung his sword through the unending attacks, targeting the groups at the distance that kept the battle array active.

The more he attacked, the weaker the array became, allowing him to make more attacks.

He attacked enough times that there were no longer enough people actively keeping up the array to keep him from fighting back.

Now, he could use his Intent and free himself from the remainder of the array affecting him.

As soon as he was free, Alex swung his blade at the sect leader.
