Second Sister Xiao wanted to kill Elder Sister Xiao. She knew that her sister was an idiot but she never thought that she would do them over like this. Now what were they supposed to do? Even if the children are found, Madam Kong would never forgive them.
Not to mention her reputation!
The thought alone was enough to bring tears to her eyes, she glared at her sister hatefully and snapped sadly, “I will never forgive you! Never!”
“What are you yelling at me for? I am your elder sister!” Elder Sister Xiao pushed Second Sister Xiao, though she only gave a light push Second Sister Xiao who was not prepared tumbled on her back.
“Like hell I care, if you are the elder sister then you should act like one. Why did you pull me into such a mess!!” Second Sister Xiao shouted as she jumped to her feet and pounced on Elder Sister Xiao.
While the two Xiao Sisters fought in the abandoned house, Yu Dong was looking for the children in the city.
“Have you seen this child?” She asked the shop owner of the small antique shop which was on the side of the jewelry shop.
The middle-aged woman with a porky belly looked up, she squinted her eyes and looked at the portrait before nodding, “Ah, I did see him.” She had a look of comprehension on her face as she continued, “He was being carried away by a bald woman. I thought that she was his relative as he was sleeping in her arms rather peacefully. Did something happen?”
She peered at Yu Dong whose expression turned grim. It was just as she expected, those two Xiao sisters were being used as a board.
The person behind this scheme wrenched all kinds of information from the two Xiao Sisters and those foolish women told everything about the outings to this kidnapper.
Those two must have been charmed by the temptation that the woman gave to them and agreed to help her.
And now that woman threw the Xiao Sisters in front of them as a feint such that they would hunt them down instead of her.
“Can you tell me how that woman looked?” Yu Dong asked with a polite voice. She was already taking out a scroll of paper and brush. At the same time, she was instilling spiritual energy inside the plants that were planted on the side of the street as well as the animals that roamed the streets.
She hoped that she could find anything that would lead her to the children.
“I can,” the shopkeeper replied and Yu Dong immediately started asking her about even the smallest detail.
In a few minutes, Yu Dong was done preparing the portrait of the bald woman. She turned it around such that the woman could see and asked, “Is this the woman?”
The shopkeeper peered at the scroll and her eyes widened. She nodded her head like a chicken pecking rice and said, “She is the one, she was the one who was taking this child away with her. You are amazing madam, your skills are truly exceptional,” the shopkeeper praised Yu Dong who only smiled.
Yu Dong turned to look at the Yamen officer, Lu Yucai who was following her and showed her the scroll with the kidnapper’s face. “We need to find where she went.”
Lu Yu Cai nodded her head. She still couldn’t get over Yu Dong and her skills. This woman could imprint even the smallest details on paper and it was terrifying just as it was impressive.
The two women thanked the shopkeeper before they started looking for the bald woman. The two waded past the street as Lu Yu Cai took the portrait from Yu Dong and went looking for her.
Yu Dong on the other hand crouched down in front of a street cat that was licking his foot. She thought about something and took out a small bowl from her space and then poured a generous amount of water inside of it.
She also instilled spiritual energy inside the water
Once she was done, Yu Dong placed it in front of the orange cat. “Here, kitty, kitty,” she cooed at the cat who raised her head and looked up at her.
Fortunately, the cat didn’t run away as the lure of the spiritual water was too tempting. She sniffed the water in the bowl before stepping forward and licking it tentatively.
Yu Dong heaved a sigh of relief before asking, “Can you understand what I am saying?” She usually did not pay attention to animals as they were too chaotic and understanding their thoughts was rather difficult as they would change at every second.
The orange cat raised her head and meowed.
“Of course, I do,” after gaining sentience, the orange cat answered Yu Dong who understood what she was saying. Yu Dong’s eyes twitched with the amount of spiritual aura she had to use to decipher the thoughts of the cat.
“Have you seen a bald woman,” Yu Dong had snapped an image of the portrait that she had handed to Lu Yu Cai earlier, she showed it to the cat and asked, “If you have can you tell me?”
“MEOW!” The cat exclaimed. “Meow! Meoooo! Meow!”
[That woman is bad. She is seriously a pervert. Every time she sees me, she threatens me that she will skin me alive, I hate her. She kicked Big Daddy who lives three streets away from this street and nearly turned him limp.”
[Oooh she is terrible.]
Yu Dong’s eyes brightened. She said to her, “Then you have seen her right? Then can you tell me where she is at the moment?”
“Meoooow!”
[No, I am not going close to her. She beats a cat, and has killed four —broke paws of seven. I don’t like her, she stole my fish too.]
“A human stole fish from a cat?” Yu Dong repeated in disbelief. No wonder this cat hated that woman. What kind of woman steals fish from a cat!?
