Guide to raise my cutie husbands

Chapter 1785 - 1785: Heading over

Ye Liu couldn’t continue.

He knew that Yu Dong was worried about him; if Shen Li was to go with her, then she would only worry about him throughout the journey.

He also understood that there was no point in him following her as he would only cause her inconvenience. Not only would he not be able to help her, he might even become a burden to his wife.

Yu Dong had to rush to the Apple City; if he was to go there with her then Yu Dong would have to take care of him.

her,

After thinking it through, he no longer insisted that Wu Junfen was going with Yu Dong. The two of them would manage it somehow.

With that thought in his head, he didn’t say anything anymore to Yu Dong.

Yu Dong rushed out of the room along with Yu Yue. She knocked on the courtyard where the Lang family lived, “Lang came out quickly.”

Lang, who was sleeping, immediately jumped out of the bed when she heard Yu Dong’s voice. She stepped out of the courtyard and looked at Yu Dong before asking in a hurried voice, “Sister Yu, what is the matter?”

Lang realised that there was something wrong.

Yu Dong said to Lang, “Listen, I will be leaving the village tonight. You stay with my husbands and children and keep them safe. No matter what happens, tell Village Head Gu that outsiders are not allowed inside the village for the next few days until I come back. Lest someone cause trouble in my absence.”

Lang was stunned when she heard Yu Dong say that she was leaving in such a hurry. She asked, “Did something happen?”

“It seems like my uncle has met with an accident. I have to go and take care of this matter; I can’t stay till the morning. The journey will take twenty or so days, so make sure that nothing happens in the village. If someone complains, just tell them that they are more than welcome to leave the village.”

Though the villagers were more or less united, Yu Dong knew that there were some who still believed that she was being too much of a tyrant. Surely, they would cause trouble for her husbands.

She paused and added , “If they don’t understand with a warning. Throw them out of the village and let them fend for themselves for a week.”

Since they had so many complaints about how she ran the village, they might as well live somewhere else.

Lang was speechless when she heard the words of Yu Dong; sure enough, there was no one as wonderful as her boss. Since she was worried that her husbands would be bullied, she was willing to even send a bunch of villagers to an early grave.

But what could she do about it? Other than lowering her head and agreeing? Lang had no other choice. She hoped that no one would cause trouble for the masters or else —

They might just starve to death!

Once Yu Dong was done giving instructions, she came out of the house, where she met with Wu Junfen, who was already holding her bag in her hands. She looked at Yu Dong and asked her, “What happened? Mai said something happened to your uncle.”

“Something did happen.” Yu Dong nodded and relayed what Mammy Cao had told the messenger. Once she finished telling Wu Junfen about this matter, the latter furrowed her brow and remarked, “It seems like this master cannot be left alone anymore, she is actually killing people as if she is chopping down chickens.”

Yu Dong had the same thought. It was one thing that this master was trying to cause trouble, but it was simply another thing that she just kept targeting her family.

The two of them, however, did not discuss this matter any longer and immediately left the village with Yu Yue and the messenger.

It was just as Yu Dong expected; the second they took the shorter routes, the refugees who were waiting for someone to come down the path jumped down on their carriage.

Seeing them act like this, Yu Dong and Wu Junfen didn’t think twice before chopping the heads of a few refugees. They naturally did not want to kill every single refugee, but they still had to kill the chicken to warn the monkey, right?

Their plan worked, and the refugees indeed backed down.

Yu Yue, who had never seen such a scene before, soon turned sick and ended up throwing up on the side of the road.

“I am sorry… I just …I never thought that I would see something like this in my life,” Yu Yue wiped her mouth at the back of her sleeves and said to Yu Dong and Wu Junfen apologetically.

The sound of a skull being smashed open was still ringing in her ears.

“There is no need to apologise,” Wu Junfen carelessly wiped her dagger with a rag and threw it out of the window. “If it makes you feel better these refugees are the ones who ate the flesh of a human.”

“Thus, there is no need for you to feel apologetic towards them.”

Wu Junfen thought that this information would make Yu Yue feel better, who would have thought that she would start throwing up once again!

Yu Dong turned and gave Wu Junfen a stinky eye making the woman look even more annoyed and flustered. What? She said these words to make Yu Yue feel less guilty. Why was she throwing up even harder?

Yu Dong rolled her eyes at Wu Junfen’s confused look and turned to look at Yu Yue. She said to her aunt, “If you are feeling sick then it’s better if you lie down for a while. This is indeed a new thing for you but if we want to reach Uncle Fei sooner, this is the only way.”

When Yu Yue heard Yu Dong’s words, she nodded and lay down on the seat. What Yu Dong made sense, she wasn’t of any help to them, so she shouldn’t become a burden either!
