Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage

Chapter 590 - 590: 590: Director, Switch the Feed!

As Orson’s final strike landed, the entire battlefield froze. A mix of disbelief and overwhelming joy washed across everyone’s faces.

“So… this is death…”

Misius’ broken form began disintegrating into particles, and a strange peace surfaced in his hollow eyes. He let out a sorrowful, final howl.

“I failed to protect my kingdom… I am the King of Sparta. I am the Roman War God. My will… shall never falter! Never fall!”

His desperate cry echoed into the starry night of Infinite Dimensions, marking the end of an era. One of the Era of Immortals’ legends had finally fallen.

“Farewell.”

Orson’s expression grew solemn. He understood that good and evil weren’t so black and white.

Misius and BlazeKing—both were merely victims of the sides they chose.

They became enemies by fate.

He withdrew the now-dim God-Slaying Sword as Misius, along with the remnants of his long-lost people, vanished into the eternal abyss.

Victory belongs to the living. The fallen descend into the void.

Under the watchful eyes of countless players, the divine angel dissolved into a brilliant rain of light. A radiant firework burst high in the Infinite Dimensions sky, illuminating the world for what felt like an eternity.

“He did it! HE DID IT!”

Bradley howled in celebration as the others finally snapped out of their trance, eyes red with emotion. An unthinkable battle had ended with the death of a god!

“Orgod… he’s invincible…”

Demon Emperor muttered in awe. Even from afar, he could feel the impossible, overwhelming energy radiating from Orson’s body.

A mortal… had slain a god.

It was beyond belief—and yet it had just happened before their eyes.

“The Ten Overlords of the US shall become your sword, crushing all enemies before you!”

Alexander bowed deeply toward Orson, his gaze resolute.

Orson looked back calmly, nodding. “No need for grand declarations. I never intended to become your captain. But I know what I must do.”

“Understood!” Alexander exhaled, barely able to contain his emotions.

Only he fully understood how difficult it was to mortally wound a God-tier being—even holding the God-Slaying Sword.

The power gap was unfathomable. His prideful Sword God heart had fully surrendered after witnessing this battle.

This man… the true head of Radiant Shuttle… was indeed worthy.

Critical hit: -100!

Suddenly, a figure barreled into Orson’s arms, nearly knocking him off his feet.

He inhaled sharply, glancing at his barely surviving HP bar—just over 10,000 left—and smiled wryly.

“Ouch. Trying to finish me off now? Just so we’re clear—if you kill me with this sneak attack, it doesn’t count as a win.”

Blank froze, her flushed face buried against his chest, turning as red as a ripe peach.

“Awooo!”

“Intruder attack! Guards, protect the boss!”

The Godslayer squad erupted into howls and wolf whistles. Divine Slash and the others grinned as they rushed over.

“Hey now, I want a hug too! Orgod’s hugs are the warmest!”

“Orson! I’m coming!”

Bradley stomped forward, determined to claim his own embrace.

Blank’s face burned with shame, trying to wiggle free—but Orson caught her easily, his smile turning wicked.

“Trying to flee after ambushing me? You brazen thief. We’re not done here.”

“Shut up…”

Blank gritted her teeth, shoving him away while stammering.

“I—I was just passing through. Is that a crime?”

“And where exactly were you headed? If I recall, this part of the ruined castle used to be… the master bedroom.”

Orson straightened up, feigning seriousness.

“Miss Blank, there are millions of players watching. I suggest you avoid any indecent acts.”

He finished with a playful flick to her forehead.

“You’re insufferable!”

Blank stomped in frustration, struggling to explain herself while thousands of eyes stared at them.

The playful flirting only made Madman cry out in agony.

“God, why are you so cruel?! I nearly died out there, and now I have to watch these two flaunt their love! I can’t take it anymore!”

But before he could finish whining, the group suddenly froze as Bradley’s face darkened.

“Beast! Get your hands off my sister!”

“Wait—SHE’S the one who—mmph!”

Madman’s protest was smothered as Ruby pounced, planting kisses all over his stunned face.

Orson and Blank stared wide-eyed.

Wait… these two?!

When did that happen?!

Their secrecy had been flawless!

Ruby clung to Madman like a koala, gazing at him with puppy eyes.

“You promised to take me to Wu Mountain to see the tri-colored moons in Infinite Dimensions, remember?”

Madman broke into a nervous sweat, flustered beyond belief.

“I… I did?”

“You didn’t?”

Ruby’s eyes narrowed, her tiny fangs extending dangerously.

“Y-Yes! Of course! As soon as we wrap this up, we’ll go!”

Madman scrambled to pacify her. Only then did Ruby revert to her sweet, docile self.

“Help! Somebody help me!”

Madman pleaded with his comrades, but seeing it was Ruby—their usual tormentor—everyone casually whistled and pretended not to notice.

For years, he’d touted his twenty years of pickup experience.

Now, when a girl finally fell for him, all his ‘theories’ evaporated into useless garbage.

Damn it!

None of that crap worked!

“Unbelievable… even shotgun-style flirting worked for him?”

Orson shook his head in disbelief.

Every single girl who’d visited Godslayer HQ had been hit on by Madman, activating his eternal simp passive skill.

Who knew one slightly crazy girl would actually take the bait?

The odds were astronomical!

“Thinking of casting your own wide net too?”

Blank glared at him, slicing a nearby stone lion into pieces with a casual flick of her blade.

“Ahem! Wonderful night, beautiful moon—surely tomorrow will be a fantastic day!”

Orson swiftly changed the subject, wiping sweat from his back.

“LOOT TIME!”

As DumbEgg whooped in delight, everyone finally turned their attention to Misius’ loot drops.

“WTF! Only a God NPC drops loot like this—it’s like black and white waves flashing before my eyes!”

They rubbed their eyes and swallowed nervously as Berenice quickly gathered items, causing the battle log to scroll like crazy.

“Wait, why is that book silver?!”

Madman’s expression shifted, letting Ruby cling to him as he activated a burst skill and bolted forward.

But he couldn’t outrun Berenice, who extended a tiny paw from inside her egg, snatching the book and tossing it into Orson’s inventory.

“What kind of book glows like that? Even S-rank skill books give off black light!”

“Is this… could it be… a Forbidden Curse?”

The livestream chat lost their minds, practically shoving their eyeballs into their monitors for a better view.

Orson narrowed his eyes before casually snapping his fingers toward the broadcasting crew.

As prearranged, anything involving guild secrets wouldn’t be aired publicly.

SirLagsALot instantly understood.

“Director, switch the feed!”
