Chapter 1902: The Gaze of the Abyss

A few hours before Azief wake up from his meditation, Will and his teacher was visited by an uninvited being

That being is Wargod.

This is something Azief did not know and it is also something that does not concern him…normally.

Today was supposed to be the day that Will and Samara would brought Azief back home to Earth

But there is Wargod in the room. And he is talking to Will and Samara

And they are deep in conversation

“He stays here today. And he will stay here for quite some time.” Wargod paused for a moment and then shakes his head

“not, here, here. But he would be safe here”

Samara listen and she frowned

To be honest she did not care much about that child. Not only that Child is a very dangerous child, shrouded by fate and destiny in a way that makes her feel uncomfortable, but also because that Child has the legacy of the Etherna

And she knows that anything related to those taboo things will not end well. It did not end well for her and her race either.

If not for the fact that the temple of her race is in Interium, she would never even dare to tangle with Wargod. Not because she is not confident she could not beat him

But because she did not want to get entangled in the cause and effect of Wargod.

She sighed and then she looks at Will behind him

She raise her eyebrows. Since this is about his sworn brother, Will is also in the room

she knows her disciple has deep bonds with that person. So, she gesture Will to come forward

“You talk to him” Wargod only smile at this

She will let Will talk to Wargod.

Will is brave. But even if he is brave, facing Wargod with the kind of menacing and killing aura that seems to emanate out of him naturally would make anyone feel timid.

But when he is about to fight for something precious to him, he would not back down. It is the quality that his teacher also appreciate.

But when Wargod said that Azief have to stay here for a long time, does Wargod wanted to detain his sworn brother here?

But a being like Wargod…he probably disdain to lie to beings like him.

“What do you mean, Wargod? If my brother did not come with us today, how would he go back?”

“This…..broken star travels through dimension and parallel universes. My brother does not have Speed Source to help him navigate back to Earth. It would take him how many decades to just go back relying only on vague direction”

Will knows that Azief is now an Essence Creation realm leveler. He is even half step to Sovereign realm.

Probably Azief is quite fast and he would have many tricks and new magical powers

But Interium is a place that even confounded many ancient beings.

The only reason why Will could come here so easily is because of his teacher

And the reason why his teacher and him could arrive here so easily is none other than the Speed Source.

It created a bypass through space and time that allows them to travel though all kinds of parallel universes, galaxies, and dimension to arrive here.

It is like having a guide.

Coming here is the hard part.

But going back is also not something that is easy.

Even now, Interium probably have travelled far enough from the initial position that they come from.

How many dimension, how many star system , how many galaxies have this broken star passes in the few moments that they speak with each other?

Even Will doesn’t know it.

The reason why this broken star is so hard to find is precisely because it roams all over the Omniverse.

Not one particular galaxies, or dimension or parallel Universes, but all of it.

Wargod look at Will and he could understand why the young mortal is concerned

“Your sworn brother has an opportunity waiting for him. I thought…..of letting him go back….back to Earth. After all, that is where his learning should continue. That is fate and destiny. And he should face it”

Wargod then sighed and paused a moment

Will is not impatient.

Wargod then continue saying

“Even though I did teach him everything I could, there is also a limit”

“Limit?” Will ask.

Samara raises her eyebrows but then she look up at the ceiling of the room. But she is not really looking at the ceiling

She seems to be looking beyond it

Wargod just snicker

“The gaze…..of the Abyss is looking at me. And for every moment longer that he is in this star, that gaze is pressuring this broken star. There is a limit of things I could reveal. And when that limit is reached, then the One in the Garden would not be so tolerant anymore”

He sighed

“I should be grateful with what I have today. If I have learned one thing in the past countless eons, it is this”

He paused for a second. Will could not understand but Samara understood.

In a way, Samara probably the only few beings in the Omniverse that could truly understand Wargod feeling.

After all, they are both beings that is screwed by the Destroyer. Only in Wargod case, it is more severe than her

At least, she did not have to seal her energy and her ability to survive. She could still reclaim back her energy and recover back her powers

Wargod just shakes his head and then continue saying

“But yesterday, I changed my mind. Your sworn brother could have more opportunity. Since there is opportunity rolling to his feet he should take it”

Will hearing this frowned.

He wonder what kind of opportunity is Wargod talking about.

If there is something called opportunity coming from Wargod, it must be a very great opportunity and fortune

Wargod would not lie about this.

It is not because Will trusted Wargod.

It is because he had spoken about this matter with Azief.

Azief believe that Wargod wanted to prevent the future that they saw.

Azief explains a bit about his connection with the Etherna but there are some things he did not explain.

Will understand.

It is not about keeping it a secret from him, it is about not tainting him with cause and effect.

Will would not mind but Azief clearly mind. Some cause and effect are not beneficial and sometimes could even burden you

As for Wargod and Azief, for now, they share the same objective.

Of course, Wargod also have his own selfish desire but it is not something that Azief care about.

Wargod want something from him and he also want something from Wargod and their interest converged. And this interest is a win-win deal

They both take each other what they want.

And Azief had said that Wargod is sincerely assisting him.

Will is silent as he is thinking. And then he asked

“You will sent him back to Earth? But, I thought you could not descend on Earth? Even if it’s your avatar…” But Will did not finish his words

Wargod look at Samara and then he look back at Will, his eyes narrowed and an invisible pressure seems to emanate out of him and rush toward Will.

Samara notices this and she waves her hand and a small arcs of lightning flew forward and slam itself with this invisible pressure.

The invisible pressure dissipated with the lightning arc. It is so fast, that if not for the fact that Will is a speedster, he would not even be able to see this confrontation.

Wargod snorted

“It seems your teacher had told you about some things”

Samara look at Wargod and she flashed a cunning smile

This is one of the reasons why Samara is not worried that Wargod would enter Earth and seek problem with her.

Earth is quite a forbidden place. It has been since its creation.

But it is even more lethal for a being like Wargod which is already marked with taboo

If he set foot on Earth, even if it his avatar, then his location would be instantly known. Most being even if they know Wargod location would not come to annoy him. But there is a reason why Wargod reside in a broken sailing star.

It is precisely because he could not stay in one place for too long.

Because he is hunted.
