Chapter 4368: Request
Buzz!
"With this, it is finished!" I said as the runes connected to the formation, and it buzzed.
A big smile appeared on my face. I had been working on this important formation of my inheritance for months, and I finally finished it.
I have been making steady progress on my inheritance since I came here—more than just the inheritance. I am making greater progress on the laws, which is kind of shocking.
It is frustrating that I couldn’t use the laws I am comprehending.
Still, that doesn’t mean I am not getting out something I couldn’t use in real life. Oh, I am getting things, a lot of things.
Combat styles, healing, artifice, alchemy. However, I have not seen a glimpse of the culinary yet.
The laws show me different things. They could not only be used in the fighting but also for other things. Still, fighting is the most used way, and that’s what I see.
Every week, I would see them two to three times, which is a lot.
I am taking complete advantage of it, learning as much as possible. It is helping me improve my alchemy and artifice, and tomorrow, I am leaving to test the combat style.
Outside, the village is dangerous, but I cannot remain cooped up here.
Fighting isn’t the main purpose; I want to see the realm. I want to see whether the information they have provided me is right, as only then can I work on leaving this place.
Yes, till now, nobody has been able to leave this place. Those who had tried had died.
That doesn’t mean I will not look for a way.
I will because I have not been in this place for centuries and millennia. I don’t plan to stay even a decade; it might seem bold, but I will try or die, like many before me.
I pushed my thoughts and focused on the work. I had finished one formation, but there are more.
Hun!
Hours passed, and I was working when I heard the horn. It was a different horn, not a danger horn but a medical alert one.
I stopped what I had been doing and opened my eyes before walking out of my cottage.
I saw the primes bringing the injured to Prime Rava’s cottage there. The injured aren’t Sovereigns but the Primes.
The three Primes who went outside a week ago are now seriously injured, and it is not the monsters that did it to them.
I thought for a moment before walking out of my cottage.
Hun!
I had just taken a step out of it when Prime Avana appeared in front of me.
"Rava is asking for you, Prime Arys," she said. Hearing that, my heart skipped a beat.
My first thought was that she found out about me. Otherwise, why else would she seek me instead of healing the patients?
A moment later, I calm down. It is the highest possibility, but there might be other reasons.
"Sure," I replied and moved with her.
While I do that, my clones start making preparations. It would be extremely hard to escape; there are many powerful Primes, especially those two.
I have created a few means, but they will only give me a slim chance against them.
They are far too powerful, but if it comes to that, I won’t be just handing my life over to them. I will fight tooth and nail every chance to survive, no matter how small it seems.
It took me a second to appear in the basement of Prime Rava’s home.
It is where she heals. I was above because my injuries were greater, but I wasn’t in immediate danger. I was stable and making a recovery every day.
"Prime Rava," I said and nodded at two Primes who were helping her.
"Prime, as you can see, these three are in grave condition. I hope you will provide me with healing tools that will aid me in healing them," she requested.
Relief flooded my heart. I was alert, ready to bolt at any moment.
"I had been planning to ask you about them, but I thought, let you get used to the things here thing before requesting things from you," she said with a blush.
"You should have Prime Rava," I replied.
The two primes are not surprised. Every prime knew I had a core space. I had never intended to keep it a secret.
"I have tools, but I don’t know which ones you need," I said. "Send me the list, and I will select it," she replied.
A second later, a soul beam entered her head, and a surprise appeared in her eyes.
"You have a lot of medical tools, Prime Arys," she said. "I had more, but I sold them all the organization. These are the ones I had gathered in the past few decades." I replied with a smile.
"Give me these," she said and beamed the list to me.
A few seconds later, I waved my hand, and tens of medical tools appeared in a large room.
She had chosen well; these are tools, that will help. Some she already has, but these are better than the ones she has.
Her tools have been scraped together for over a thousand years from the core spaces of people. Something that very few Primes have.
The storage didn’t last long here, but nearly all who came didn’t have storage on them.
They were destroyed in the tunnels. The spatial devices become very sensitive. Even the strongest could easily get destroyed in an unstable space.
"Thank you, Prime Arys. They will help a lot in saving the lives of a lot of people," she thanked, and before starting activating the five, she needs for the three people she is trying to save.
I watched her and couldn’t help but admire her skills.
I wish I could go to her and help her heal them, but I cannot. It is too risky.
It is why I simply walked out of the room. I wanted to watch her work, but I didn’t have the confidence that I would be able to control myself.
I might end up doing something that will reveal my identity.
These people do not have any idea about me, but that doesn’t mean they won’t in the future, and I don’t want anything to jeopardize it.
I worked too hard to create this identity. I won’t get another chance to create such a tight identity.
