“Sevenfold Annihilation!”
Lightning, fire, thunder, water, wind, earth, and shadow—all seven elements fused into a single, catastrophic wave of destruction. The attack distorted reality itself, its path burning away the very laws of existence.
“DIE!” Fan Shen roared.
Yun Lintian’s eyes narrowed.
He didn’t retreat.
Instead, he raised Heaven Sunderer high, and for the first time, multiple divine auras flared around him simultaneously.
The God of War’s crimson fury.
The God of Light’s radiant purity.
The God of Darkness’ consuming void.
The God of Balance’s harmonious equilibrium.
And—
Something more.
A fifth aura, one that even Fan Shen didn’t recognize. It pulsed with an ancient, overwhelming weight, as if the very universe bowed before it.
“Break.”
Yun Lintian’s sword came down.
The two attacks collided—
And the world shattered.
BOOOOOOM—!!!
The explosion was beyond comprehension. The void itself split apart, revealing the swirling chaos of the primordial cosmos beneath. Countless stars in the distance winked out of existence, erased by the shockwaves.
When the light faded, both combatants stood amidst the wreckage of space, their bodies battered but unbroken.
Fan Shen panted heavily, his golden eyes wide with disbelief. “How…? That attack should have erased you!”
Yun Lintian remained silent, but the aura around him pulsed stronger than ever.
Fan Shen’s mind raced. He’s not just absorbing divine power—he’s mastering it!
The realization struck him like a hammer.
Yun Lintian wasn’t just a devourer like him.
He was something worse.
A true Primordial God.
Fan Shen’s lips curled into a snarl. “No… I won’t accept this!”
He reached inside himself, gripping the core of his stolen divinities.
“If seven aren’t enough… then I’ll take MORE!”
With a brutal yank, he tore at the very fabric of his being, forcibly awakening the dormant powers of the gods he had consumed.
His body warped.
Golden cracks spread across his skin as his flesh struggled to contain the surge of power. His eyes blazed like twin suns, and his aura skyrocketed beyond its previous limits.
Yun Lintian’s expression finally shifted—a flicker of caution.
Fan Shen laughed, his voice now layered with the echoes of multiple gods.
“Let’s see you match THIS!”
He moved.
His fist—now wreathed in the combined might of ten amplified divinities—slammed into Yun Lintian’s chest before even the concept of “time” could register the attack.
BOOM!
Yun Lintian flinched.
For the first time in the battle—he was forced back.
Fan Shen’s triumphant roar shook the cosmos.
“DIE, DIE, DIE!”
His next barrage came faster than thought. Each punch, each kick, each sword strike carried the weight of a supernova. The void itself rippled under the assault, unable to withstand the sheer force.
Yun Lintian blocked, parried, and countered—but for every strike he deflected, two more landed. His body was pushed further and further back, his defenses slowly crumbling.
Fan Shen’s laughter grew manic. “SEE?! This is TRUE power! The power of a GOD!”
Fan Shen’s madness reached its peak. Golden cracks spread across his entire body as the stolen divinities within him raged uncontrollably. His eyes burned with unrestrained fury, his every movement tearing apart the fabric of space around them.
“I’LL DRAG YOU TO HELL WITH ME!”
He attacked without thought, without strategy. Stars shattered in the distance as shockwaves from their battle rippled across the cosmos. Entire constellations winked out of existence, unable to withstand the sheer destructive force of their clash.
Yun Lintian’s expression grew solemn. He raised Heaven Sunderer, meeting each of Fan Shen’s frenzied attacks with precise counters. The crimson runes on his blade pulsed rhythmically, absorbing and dispersing the overwhelming force behind Fan Shen’s strikes.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Every collision sent spatial rifts spiderwebbing through the void. Yun Lintian’s arms trembled slightly—even with his mastery, Fan Shen’s unrestrained power was pushing him to his limits.
Fan Shen noticed. His grin turned feral.
“What’s wrong? Can’t keep up?”
He abandoned all defense, pouring every ounce of his being into pure offense. His Human Emperor Sword became a golden blur, each slash carrying enough force to cleave planets in half.
Yun Lintian exhaled sharply—then countered.
BOOM!
A sudden burst of power erupted from Heaven Sunderer, knocking Fan Shen back. Before Fan Shen could recover, Yun Lintian pressed forward, his blade weaving a deadly net of crimson light.
Fan Shen’s eyes widened. He was holding back?!
Fan Shen was instantly forced on the defensive. He blocked frantically, golden blood spraying from new wounds as Yun Lintian’s attacks slipped past his guard.
“AAAAAAAAH!”
With a bestial roar, Fan Shen detonated the unstable divine energies within him. The explosion sent Yun Lintian skidding backward, buying Fan Shen a precious moment to breathe.
His chest heaved. Golden ichor dripped from countless wounds. But his grin never faded.
“You… you’re just like me,” Fan Shen panted. “A thief who stole power from gods. Don’t act so high and mighty!”
Yun Lintian didn’t respond. Instead, he did something that made Fan Shen’s blood run cold—
He sheathed Heaven Sunderer.
A new sword materialized in his grasp.
The God Slaying Sword.
The moment it appeared, the very fabric of reality around them warped, as if unable to withstand its presence.
Fan Shen’s golden eyes narrowed. “What—”
Then he felt it.
A new power radiated from Yun Lintian—one that made Fan Shen’s stolen divinities shriek in primal terror within his soul.
The Power of Chaos.
The fusion of Creation and Destruction. The merging of the God of Life and God of Death’s essence. The primordial force that existed before the concept of gods themselves.
Yun Lintian’s mismatched eyes glowed—one gold, one black—as he leveled the God Slaying Sword at Fan Shen.
“You never understood the power you stole,” Yun Lintian said calmly. “You used them as tools. As weapons. But you never made them part of you.”
Fan Shen spat blood. “Shut up! You’re no different!”
Yun Lintian shook his head. “Watch.”
He moved.
Not with speed.
Not with teleportation.
But by erasing the concept of distance itself.
The God Slaying Sword was already descending before Fan Shen could blink.
“Rending Heaven.”
The blade came down—
And the universe screamed.
Fan Shen barely raised his Human Emperor Sword in time.
CLAAAAAAAAANG—!!!
The impact shattered every divine defense Fan Shen had. The Storm God’s lightning dispersed. The Earth God’s diamond skin cracked. The Shadow God’s cloak evaporated.
Golden blood erupted from Fan Shen’s mouth as he was sent flying across the void, his body carving a burning path through the remnants of dead stars.
Before he could recover, Yun Lintian was already above him, the God Slaying Sword raised high, brimming with apocalyptic power.
“This is the difference between us,” Yun Lintian said quietly. “You collected power. I understood it.”
