“Now I need to take a look at their Transcendent Powers and organize different teams so that they can use their new powers to the best of their abilities during the war…” Evan muttered as he looked at the shadow undeads who had awakened the power of their Transcendent Cores.
Currently, he had fifty thousand shadow undeads. Compared to this number, the number of shadow undeads who had awakened the power of their Transcendent Cores was very low.
What’s more, these fifty thousand shadow undeads were the ones he had created when he was still a Rank Three Core Evolver.
Now that he had become a Rank Four Core Evolver, the number of shadow undeads he could command had increased to an astonishing seventy-five thousand.
It is difficult to manage so many shadow undeads by himself. However, if he uses the ones who has awakened their Transcendent Powers and forms different teams with them as leaders, it will become much easier for him to control and command them all.
‘To proceed with my plans, I will need to join the fight between the Demons and Dragons…’ Evan thought to himself. ‘If everything goes as planned, I should be able to fill the remaining slots of the twenty-five thousand shadow undeads there.’
“But before that…” Evan walked over to Eclipse, whom he had just re-summoned, and looked at him seriously.
“Eclipse, I need you to go somewhere.”
As Evan spoke, Eclipse felt dozens of sharp gazes pierce into his back.
Even without turning around, he could tell the stares were coming from the other shadow undeads. Noticing their gaze, Instead of feeling uncomfortable, Eclipse puffed out his chest with pride and nodded.
“Just give me the order, Master…” He glanced over his shoulder at the other shadow undeads. “After all, unlike these useless guys, I am the only one you can truly rely on for important matters.”
“Uh… Yeah, right…” Evan’s mouth twitched as he noticed Eclipse giving the other shadow undeads a smug look and shook his head inwardly.
‘What an innocent guy. Even though I am just sending him on an errand, he is acting like he is going on a grand mission.’
Evan then explained to Eclipse where he needed to go and what he needed to do.
As Sylvan overheard what Evan wanted Eclipse to accomplish, his expression shifted slightly, though he remained silent.
“I will definitely complete the mission, Master,” Eclipse said in a serious tone.
“Umm, I trust you,” Evan nodded, then looked at Sylvan. “Can you send a message to Ashley so she can get him there?”
“Sure,” Sylvan closed his eyes, and using his connection with the Closed World of Drayds, sent a message to Ashley.
“She is waiting at the teleportation building,” He informed Eclipse after a moment.
“I will be off then.”
Eclipse didn’t waste any time and after giving one last smug look to the other shadow undeads, he dashed off.
Sylvan watched the so-called errand boy disappear into the distance, then looked back at Evan with a strange expression.
“I think you have brainwashed these guys.”
Evan’s mouth twitched again at Sylvan’s comment, but he decided to stay silent.
Seeing Evan’s lack of response, Sylvan shook his head and changed the topic.
“So, why do you want to get involved in the mess between the Demons and Dragons?”
“It’s already been a few months…” Evan replied with a deep look on his face. “I don’t think it will take them long to return. Before they comes back, I want to finish what we started, so we can reap enough benefits.”
“Before they comes back…” Sylvan raised an eyebrow. “Are you talking about Baphomet and Eldrakar?”
Evan nodded and walked over to his shadow undeads.
“Once they return, the fight between the Demons and Dragons will immediately come to a halt. Not only that, everyone will realize that I was the one who caused all of this…” Evan turned to look at Sylvan.
“What do you think will happen if they return while we are fighting against Winterclaw?”
“Considering the chaos you have caused among the Demons and Dragons, I am sure both of them would gladly join Winterclaw just to rip you apart,” Sylvan replied with a frown.
“Exactly…” Evan nodded. “So before they return, I want to weaken their forces by stirring up chaos in both the Demon and Dragon armies.”
“Not only that…” A look of amusement crossed Evan’s face. “If we are lucky, we might even be able to use them against Winterclaw.”
‘This villainous smile again…’ Sylvan gave Evan a blank stare as he saw that familiar expression return.
He decided then and there to keep young Drayds away from Evan to prevent them from ending up like him.
‘The worst part is, if I tell him he is smiling like a villain, he will immediately start acting innocent, claiming he is doing everything for world peace—when in reality, his actions have nothing to do with the word peace at all…’
Sylvan took a deep breath and asked after a pause, “So, when are we leaving?”
Evan thought for a moment before giving his answer.
“Let’s wait a few days. I need to take care of a few things before we go stir up trouble with the Demons and Dragons.”
“Alright. Let me know when you are ready.”
Sylvan didn’t wait for Evan’s reply and immediately left, feeling like if he stayed around him any longer, his own mentality would become corrupted.
Evan didn’t care about Sylvan’s hasty departure and using his Void ability, returned to his home.
He checked on Elora’s condition, and after seeing that she was still asleep from exhausting her powers, he decided to visit Anastasia.
“I hope she will be able to solve the problem I discovered when I summoned that guy,” Evan muttered as he arrived at the room where the portal to Anastasia’s Core World was located.
Taking a step forward, he touched the portal, and a sudden force pulled him inside.
