PRIMORDIAL HAREM SYSTEM

Chapter 439 - 439: Entering the Portal

The divine laws swiftly condensed into countless glowing symbols, gathering around Shen Yuan like weapons ready for slaughter, yet they hesitated. They formed mystical chains of runes, weaving harmoniously around his body. This sight alone stunned everyone speechless.

Shen Yuan’s eyes flew open, radiating a divine brilliance. He tried controlling his aura, but to no avail; the laws were far beyond his current comprehension.

Before anyone could regain their composure, the earth shook violently, and the Wall of Comprehension emitted a sonorous hum, resounding throughout the Mystique Realm.

Suddenly, a blazing beam of pure golden light shot from the Wall, piercing the sky and illuminating the heavens.

BOOOM!

A massive spatial vortex formed before the Wall of Comprehension, rotating rapidly as it expanded. Inside the vortex, a mysterious ancient portal gradually took shape, emanating a terrifyingly profound aura.

“That portal… What is it?!”

“Could it lead deeper into the mysteries of the Wall itself?!”

All eyes were filled with bewilderment, excitement, and trepidation, staring intently at the portal forming in front of Shen Yuan.

Shen Yuan stood silently, bathed in the light of ancient laws, yet his expression was calm and composed. He gazed deeply into the portal, feeling a strange sense of calling from within his heart.

[This is your chance, Yuan’er.]

Yue Lan’s gentle voice echoed clearly in his Sea of Consciousness, but it had become even more playful.

[The Wall of Comprehension has opened a direct path for you. It has chosen you as worthy to glimpse its true secrets. Now the question is, do you want these secrets?]

‘Why me…?’ Shen Yuan asked, his heart trembling with excitement and confusion.

[Your Dao Heart, cultivation, talent, and comprehension ability have far surpassed the standards of this lower realm. And another important thing might be that Undying Heart you now possess inside you. Only you can know what is in store for you once inside this place.]

Taking a deep breath, Shen Yuan calmed his beating heart. He glanced briefly at Wan Ling and Lei Ranyu, seeing concern and excitement in their eyes.

“Brother Shen… be careful,” Wan Ling softly whispered, biting her lip nervously.

Lei Ranyu nodded firmly, her voice clear and unwavering. “Go. Seize this opportunity.”

Shen Yuan smiled reassuringly, relieved that he didn’t have to fight his own sect mates for this opportunity. From the looks of it, they were supporting him to head there.

But before he could turn around and enter the portal, a disciple from the Thunder Cloud Sect lunged towards the glowing portal.

“Opportunists don’t wait for the fated one; he has to move and take it!” he loudly shouted before jumping inside the portal.

BOOM!!

But before his body could even touch the edge of the forest, the Dao Symbols that had turned into weapons attacked the cultivator and destroyed his entire body. He didn’t even have the time to activate his token to leave.

Everyone’s eyes widened in horror at the gruesome sight. The others who had taken a step toward the portal quietly backed away, no longer wanting to head to their deaths.

Shen Yuan looked deeply toward the portal, while Wan Ling and the other sect members became anxious on his behalf.

“Brother Yuan, I-I don’t think it’s a good idea to enter it,” she quietly mumbled, no longer wanting him to go.

Shen Yuan glanced back and smiled, “Don’t worry, he wasn’t the awaited one, so he got what he deserved.”

The Thunder Cloud Sect disciples grit their teeth in anger at his blatant disdain, but they couldn’t do anything to him when the Dao Symbols were hovering around him.

Shen Yuan tried to control the Dao Symbols, yet he couldn’t, as they seemed to be independent from the Wall of Comprehension. He gave up and instead tried to communicate using his consciousness.

‘Can you protect my sect members while I’m gone?’ he softly asked, looking at the group of Dao Symbols.

They spun around him, as if wondering whether to accept it or not. Shen Yuan could do nothing but wait. But the Symbols quickly left his side and flew toward Wan Ling and the others.

This scared the living daylights out of them as they quickly took out their tokens.

“Wait, wait—” Shen Yuan quickly shouted for them to stop. Wan Ling and the three other disciples hesitated; they had seen how the Dao Symbols protected him, so they hoped they wouldn’t be attacked.

The Dao Symbols reached beside the disciples and began to spin softly. Shen Yuan heaved a sigh, “They will help you protect yourselves. Now I will be going.”

Before the Thunder Cloud Sect could take advantage of the absence of the Dao Symbols, Shen Yuan entered the portal without hesitation.

At that moment, the surrounding cultivators watched in stunned silence as Shen Yuan’s figure slowly vanished into the mysterious vortex. His departing back became eternally engraved in their memories—calm, confident, calculating, and indomitable.

As soon as he entered, the spatial vortex silently closed behind him, the ancient laws receded, and the overwhelming presence faded away as if it had never existed.

A complete silence lingered in the area.

Finally, Lin Tianchen exhaled deeply, breaking the heavy atmosphere. “Such a phenomenon… It seems we’ve witnessed the birth of a true supreme genius.”

Bai Qian gazed thoughtfully at the place where Shen Yuan disappeared, murmuring softly, “Perhaps… he will change everything.”

No one argued against this. After witnessing the heaven-defying event just now, they all knew—

The Mystique Realm, the Radiant Lotus Sacred Sect, and perhaps even the entire Aurora Zone, would soon feel the tremors of Shen Yuan’s unprecedented ascension.

“But where are the rest of the Demonic Sect members? We have only killed a few of them,” another member of the Immortal Sword Pavilion asked.

Lin Tianchen’s expression turned cold at the mention of the Demonic Sect. “They might be planning something behind the scenes. We need to pay attention to it.” He glanced at the wall and turned to Bai Qian.

“I will leave this place to you; take care of them. Even if the righteous sects don’t dare to fight here, the demonic sects might not heed our rules. We can’t afford to lose a disciple here.” He spoke seriously to her.

Bai Qian nodded her head solemnly, “Don’t worry, Senior Brother Lin, I will make sure nothing happens to them.”

His expression softened at her answer. He then gazed into the distance, “I will head to a legacy site; I should be able to find some lost arts of the World Raiser Sect.”

The Immortal Sword Pavilion disciples cupped their fists towards him and bid him farewell.

Wan Ling and the others didn’t waste much time and returned to their cultivation.

Wu Han also gave a few instructions to his fellow disciples before leaving. He had already managed to learn an Emperor Grade Array, but since it was a defensive array, no one paid much mind to him.

He was happy with it since he now had more life-saving cards up his sleeve. After he finished giving instructions, he left for some lucky encounter as well.

Thunder Cloud Sect disciples looked at everything gradually returning to normal. They couldn’t stomach this disgrace, but they also didn’t have the guts to attack the Radiant Lotus Sacred Sect with those Dao Symbols protecting them.

So they did what any smart person would do and sat down at the front to continue cultivating.
