Chapter 4491: Fright
Before Ye Jian left in a hurry, she gestured to Weaver and White Crane, indicating that they should stay put and wait for her to figure out the situation.
She was escorted away alone. Weaver’s gaze darkened, and he couldn’t help but step forward.
White Crane pressed Weaver’s wrist tightly. “Don’t move first. Let’s figure it out first.”
“She’s already being separated from us. We can’t let anything happen to her!” Weaver was anxious. It was fine if the three of them were together. Now that Azure Bird was separated from them, he was very worried that if something happened to Azure Bird, the two of them wouldn’t be able to help in time.
White Crane lowered his head and replied softly, “They want to use her to threaten us. As long as we listen, she’ll be fine.”
These people thought that the three people who had been kidnapped didn’t understand a word of what they were saying. Every time they communicated, they never thought of avoiding them. It was very convenient for White Crane to keep learning useful information, including why they separated Azure Bird.
Weaver was slightly relieved.
Ye Jian took advantage of the starlight and memorized the path she took to enter the village. After walking for about 15 minutes, she was brought to a small courtyard and pushed into a mud house with an iron door.
The iron door opened with a bang. Before Ye Jian entered, she heard a few screams from inside. They were the screams of a frightened young lady.
Ye Jian, whose hands were tied, was stunned. Besides the three of them, could it be that there were other Chinese tourists tied up in Gistan?
“Go in!”
Ye Jian’s back was pushed hard. She fell into the dark mud house.
The iron door closed again with a bang. Ye Jian took a while to get used to the darkness of the mud house. It wasn’t completely dark. There was a small window at the top of the mud wall that was big enough for children to crawl through. Sunlight was refracted through the small window. There was a trapezoid-shaped light port on the ground. It was this small light port that gave the dark mud house a hint of light. It allowed Ye Jian to see the situation in the house clearly.
Besides her, there were a few young girls around 16 or 17 years old. They all had big eyes and high nose bridges.
They were very afraid. Their eyes were filled with fear. When they saw Ye Jian enter, they hugged each other and trembled.
After being locked up for a long time, the room was filled with the smell of vomit and excrement.
Ye Jian wanted to approach the six young girls. However, the moment she took a step, the six girls screamed again. Ye Jian was so shocked that she was stunned in place. She thought for a moment and said softly, “Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid. I’m not a bad person. I’m a student they caught. Can you understand me? Can we communicate?”
If they weren’t Chinese tourists, then… they wouldn’t understand what she was saying.
She spoke softly. Before the young ladies could speak, Ye Jian stood still and tried her best to show her kindness.
These girls had been provoked before. That was why they were so afraid.
She glanced to the side and saw a black embroidered flower cap. This was the kind of caps that the local girls liked. Six girls… seven flower caps…
Ye Jian sat down slowly. Facing the trembling girls, she whispered, “Can you talk? I… was kidnapped by them. What about you? Are you the same as me?”
The girls didn’t answer. They widened their eyes in fear. It seemed that apart from screaming, they couldn’t speak.
Ye Jian, who couldn’t gather any useful information, stopped talking. She sat down and looked at the girls quietly. They needed to calm down. She would ask about the situation later.
