SORCERER: I WANT TO BE AN ACADEMIC PRODIGY

Chapter 624 - 617 Endless Spirit Workshop_2

Chapter 624: Chapter 617 Endless Spirit Workshop_2

On a solitary mountain some distance from Truth City, Ivan, Jenny, and Locke paused in their journey.

“The road ahead is uncertain, take care of yourselves.” Ivan had given all the instructions he could; there was nothing more to say.

“Boss, don’t worry, I always handle things smoothly.” Locke responded resolutely.

“Locke, don’t be so casual. That dimension is extremely unusual, seize any opportunities firmly. Don’t wait until I become a Level 5 Ancient King while you are still struggling at the lord level.”

“No need to remind me.”

Hearing Jenny’s words, Locke rolled his eyes at her.

Finally, Locke gestured to the two, communicated with an ethereal presence through the Mill Master Bracelet, and the next moment, the sky changed abruptly as a vortex formed from intertwining clouds appeared out of nowhere.

“Both of you, wait for my good news.”

Locke hastily drew a chain from the Mill Master Bracelet, flew into the sky, and threw one end of the chain precisely into the vortex.

The chain immediately tightened, as if someone on the other side was pulling it, rapidly drawing Locke upward until he disappeared into the vortex.

After Locke’s figure vanished, the vortex disappeared in an instant, as if nothing had happened.

“Sorcerer Ivan, I—”

“Jenny, there’s no need for more words. Your task is to safeguard and explore the underworld; with your current status, perhaps like Meg, there might be a forgotten throne waiting for you. Don’t miss the bigger picture for minor gains.”

“Alright.”

Compared to Locke, Jenny’s strength grew much faster.

Meanwhile, she didn’t forget to use ‘Three Create All Things’ to develop her own legion, and leveraging her eminent status as the Dark Night High Priest, she ostensibly formed a Divine Palace Guard which was actually her private army.

In the legion, there are three tree people of lord level.

Without a doubt, this was equivalent to undermining the Dark Night Mother Goddess right under her eyes. However, the Dark Night Mother Goddess ignored it and turned a blind eye.

In the underworld, Jenny enjoyed countless conveniences and was also looked after by two powerful Goddesses.

Based on this, Ivan certainly insisted on her staying in the underworld.

Meanwhile, Locke, after entering the mysterious vortex alone, continuous being pulled forward by the chain derived from the Mill Master Bracelet, finding this passage longer than he had anticipated.

Fortunately, he felt no discomfort.

For beings like Spiritual Bodies, this was an unusually stable channel.

“Ding.”

After an unknown period, he noticed a different movement in the chain, realized he was nearing his destination, feeling both apprehensive and excited.

Many people, including the family boss, told him that this was an opportunity.

It must be correct.

Unlike before, he truly felt someone above pulling the chain, like reeling in a fishing line, absurdly pulling him upward gradually.

“Don’t let go, I won’t care if you fall.”

Locke couldn’t help but look up, only to really see a brawny man grabbing the chain in fists, locking eyes with him as the man reminded him with a smile.

This was too exaggerated!

Hearing the words from above, Locke instinctively gripped the chain tighter.

Then he realized that he’d been played; the chain was extended from the Mill Master Bracelet, and he was adept at using the bracelet, impossible to let go.

“Ha ha ha.”

“Come up!”

The brawny man suddenly exerted strength, pulling Locke quickly upwards with the chain, leaping up from the deep passage below.

Turns out, the place Locke emerged was a unique well, set in a plaza covered with white obsidian, with a vast obsidian palace complex above one side of the plaza.

The palace complex and the plaza were built atop a black mountain peak.

This stark contrast of black and white filled Locke’s vision, making him take a few more glances.

“How is it? This is a good place, isn’t it?” Seeing him look over, the brawny man said with a light smile.

“It’s quite nice, peaceful, with an unobstructed view, definitely a good place for cultivation.” Locke nodded slightly, not making any moves before understanding the situation.

“Well said, however, what you see are all illusions,” the brawny man responded thus.

Under his prompting, the two approached the edge of the plaza, where there was a defensive membrane. The man waved his hand forward, and the scenery in front of them became clearly visible.

The entire world was within their sight.

Locke spotted an odd place below, where there was a giant grinding mill only slightly shorter than the mountain beneath his feet, covering a far larger area than the mountains.

The dark-colored grinding mill rotated slowly, crushing the creatures underneath it.

These creatures were all Spiritual Beings.

The grinding mill was peculiar; wherever it crushed, the Spiritual Beings beneath couldn’t help but let out a sharp cry, many yelling “I’m wrong” with voices that overlapped and carried far and wide.

This made it sound like the cries of ghosts and howls of wolves were filling Locke’s ears.

It wasn’t hard to see that there wasn’t just one area with a giant grinding mill; these areas combined together to form the main body of this world, a sight that was quite spectacular when seen at a glance.

“Welcome to the ‘Endless Spirit Workshop,’ I am the chief master of this area, Wulei Elliot, you may call me Master Wulei.”

After a pause, the muscular man revealed his identity.

“Master Wulei, my name is Lock Marichaton, I should be one of the masters here.” This chief master was evidently a Level 5 powerhouse, and Locke hastened to introduce himself.

He was probably his own superior.

“You are mistaken again, you are not yet one of the masters here, otherwise, there would have been no need for me, the chief master, to bring you here.”

“Please impart your wisdom, Great Master.”

“Come with me.”

After the two left the edge of the plaza, the scene below disappeared, the ghost-like wails vanished, and the mountain top became very quiet.

“This is a ferry point,” Wulei casually mentioned, pointing at the plaza.

“Ferry point?” Locke asked, puzzled.

“Take a closer look.”

Without any noticeable movements from Wulei, the plaza suddenly became as transparent as crystal, revealing what was underneath—it turned out there was a pond in the middle, with four wells at each corner; he had just jumped up from the southwest well.

Both the pond and deep wells were hidden beneath the plaza when not in use.

He also noticed that around the middle pond, there were patterns of chains, seemingly chains stacked up there, as if evolving from the surrounding mountains.

Previously, every chain that emerged from the giant vortex was likely originating from here.

“The wells ferry us Mill Masters, while the pond ferries those sinful spirits below, hence, this is the main ferry point connecting with the outside world, each area you saw earlier has a ferry point.”

While leading him towards a palace on one side, Wulei explained away his puzzlement.

“I see.”

Locke understood that this place was akin to a space transmission array, and even interdimensional, truly a remarkable place.

If the boss could come here, utilizing this treasure spot to study, the difficulties in enhancing the teleportation array would undoubtedly be greatly reduced.

“What are you thinking about, we’re here!”

Soon, the two arrived at the largest palace, which was entirely white, blending seamlessly with the dark-colored mountains below in stark contrast.

After entering the palace, they saw a large mill model displayed inside, also black-colored.

Besides this, there was nothing else in the palace, making it appear very empty.

The two walked ahead, their footsteps echoing inside the palace.

“You only need to jump up there, stand atop the Sin-Erasing Mill, to become an official master here, and thereafter freely enter and exit the Endless Spirit Workshop, proceeding to countless dimensions to perform official duties, bringing back the sinful spirits bred there.”

They approached the mill, and Wulei halted.

Locke also stopped advancing.

“Is it that simple?”

“It’s that simple.”

“I understand, this is a sort of assessment, isn’t it, Master Wulei?”

“You’re overthinking it, there’s no assessment here at all.”

In response to Locke’s guess, Wulei gave a sincere tone of negation, involuntarily convincing one to believe him.

Despite this, Locke still felt somewhat disbelieving, his intuition telling him that things were not so simple.

“You guys, each one of you is so cunning, but let me tell you, there really is no assessment here. However, once you become an official master, no matter which dimension you came from previously, from now onward, you will be a creature of the Endless Spirit Workshop.

Aside from going out to perform official duties, there is no way to return to your original dimension, that is the only thing.”

Seeing him hesitate, Wulei reluctantly informed him.

Hearing this, Locke stood frozen, unresponsive for a long while.
