SSS RANKED REINCARNATION: DARK DRAGON LEGACY
Chapter 406 - 406: Will to KillSilva pulled his blade out and continued walking. He had killed a good number of demons now with relative ease, and it was still fascinating.
“I guess being a demigod really is a massive thing,” Silva said to himself. He still found it hard to believe that he became capable of such a thing in only a day.
He was supposed to die inside the world tree. That was to be the end of the person called Silva, the end of his story—saving a person that he loved.
He still wondered what was that thing that saved him and allowed him to reach where he was now.
“Master,” Silva heard a voice as he walked, and it was not the voice of his sword. He stopped walking immediately when he heard it. The voice was feminine and soft.
“Who are you?” he asked, trying to figure out who spoke to him.
“The spirit of the world tree. I exist now in you, as you have taken me in,” she responded and appeared before him. She looked exactly the same as the spirit he had seen in the tree, but now here she was before him.
“You are the world tree spirit? You didn’t die in the tree?” he asked. His question sounded insensitive, but he had truly thought she died.
“No, I was transferred to you, and now I am tied to you, your soul entangled with mine for eternity,” she said.
“Yo, that sounds like a crazy marriage,” Silva said.
“I will serve you to the best of my ability, as you allow it,” she spoke.
“Yeah, I understand that already. I would love to talk and get to know you more, spirit, but for now, we have some demons to beat up,” Silva said.
“I wish to help then,” she said.
“Hmm, okay, reduces the work for me—not that it was any work, to be honest,” Silva said.
Silva didn’t know why, but he didn’t have an issue with this spirit just staying in him. It felt normal, like even though he didn’t know she was there until now, she still felt like a part of him.
By this time, Silva’s presence and actions had not gone unnoticed—a threat capable of killing not just demons but doing it with relative ease.
The demons needed to handle him fast, to stop him from causing any harm. So they sent out a force that would be able to do the deed.
The sky darkened above Silva. He looked up and saw several draconic-looking creatures flying. Though they shared a resemblance with dragons, Silva could tell right off the bat that they were not dragons.
They had black-as-night scales and pulsing purple glows all over their bodies. When they saw Silva, their target, they all began circling around him from the sky, and then, all of a sudden, they began attacking.
Shooting out streams of what looked like purple plasma energy or something, all at the same time. The spirit saw the attacks headed for them, she raised her hand, and a golden dome formed around both of them, blocking out the attacks without issue.
The creatures kept up their attack, trying to get through the dome, until they were all out of breath and had to stop.
Immediately when they stopped, Silva smiled and spoke, “My turn.” He said, and tendrils came out of the ground and attacked all the creatures faster than they could even react.
The tendrils latched onto their bodies and started shattering their bones, breaking them into several parts, killing all of them.
“I wanted to be the one to kill them,” the sword said to Silva.
“Another time. Right now, I am trying out methods to see how they hold up. You are still my number one go-to in any situation,” Silva said.
After dealing with those things, Silva could still sense an army of demons headed his way, and this time, they were serious. They sent over a hundred demons to come and take him out.
The issue was that the demons they sent were weaker demons. As Silva waited for them to get to him, he began to think.
What would happen if he used the crawler spell now? That would spell the definite end of this world. But right now, he was trying to fix the world and not break it, so he had to make sure not to do that.
The demons circled Silva and the spirit, and one came forward as the leader and spoke. “You have killed our brothers, human. We ask you now to surrender to us, and we will not—” The demon suddenly stopped speaking, shock rising in his eyes as his head fell off his neck.
The demons looked at this in shock and confusion.
“If you want to come against me, then please do. Don’t try to talk to me, don’t try to reason with me, unless you are a leader in the demon race. Else, all of you are just pawns that I will kill to get their stupid attention,” Silva said.
The demons were filled with rage as they listened to Silva. His pride and arrogance made their blood boil. Just who did he think he was, that he would make such a demand and tell them what to do? Just who did he think he was?
They were the demon race, second to none, yet here he was toying with them all.
Their feelings made their rage grow more. In large groups, they all attacked at once. Silva raised his sword before they could reach. He channeled his will through the sword and spoke.
“By my will, I want all of you dead,” he said and slashed down. Like a blackout, all light disappeared for a moment, and when it came back, their bodies were all on the ground, cut up into bits.
Now that his sword was fully unlocked, he could channel his will in a way that was very crazy, and the result was what he had done here—his will to kill them, killed them.
