“Everything’s in place. Seems like it’s alright to depart now, big brother.”

It was early morning.

The sun had just risen on the horizon of the boundary of their barrier.

There was a certain ‘artifact’ parked in the front of the tower right now as all of them had gathered around it, different expressions covering their faces.

“Just check the Jeep one last time just in case.” Eon was wearing expensive clothing that mostly consisted of high-level artifacts.

There was a blue cape on his back, there were artifact rings and bracelets on his hands, and even his shoes were highly enchanted artifacts that he had made along with Zoe.

The others that were standing around him including Zoe, the elders, and even Miss Moon were all wearing these unique clothes and were carrying artifacts that’d help them in any situation.

The artifact that they were standing around, was a four-wheeled automobile powered by a complex engine that they created with the knowledge of the past and Eon’s previous world.

The jeep was made with a unique material that could camouflage in almost any condition. They developed this unique piece of magic engineering with much effort. There were many functions of this vehicle but the most noticeable of them all was the vehicle’s ability to move discreetly as well as swiftly throughout the uneven terrain of the forest.

“Big brother, I’ve already checked up on it ten times! Everything is fine so can we please leave now?!” Zoe had put in considerable effort in the production of this piece.

There were many functions of this one vehicle.

It could survive against any creature under (Purple) rank. It was tough, it was durable, it was quiet so detecting the thing was pretty difficult as well.

The tires that they had used in it were also specially designed. Everything about the vehicle was special, and once you sat inside it, you could still see the world around you without any restrictions.

The view on the inside wasn’t obstructed by the doors or the materials that were covering it. Unless the area was attacked, it would show you the view outside.

The defensive artifacts, the barriers, and the spells attached to them were all top-class. There was no other ride like this in the entire world, and they were going to be the first ones to drive it, in a forbidden zone at that.

“Haaa. Alright alright. Don’t shout at me, I’m just worried.” Eon had prepared for everything he could.

The trip was going to be for only a few days, but they were still prepared for any unexpected situation. Everyone had their own roles in this little trip so they had also practiced what they were going to do for the following few days.

“Of course you’re worried! We know that… but it’s alright now. Don’t you see?” Zoe grabbed his hand and pointed at everyone present, including their little angel wearing a special hood, holding her precious Mr. Rice.

“Everyone’s prepared for this. They trust you and everything you’ve prepared, so trust them a little as well.”

Rein had a warm expression on her face, their grandpa was confident about this as well. Carla was excited like Quin, Anna, and Zoe. Miss Moon knew they were going to be fine.

Their Aunt Mime was helplessly shaking her head at Eon. She had told him many times that he worried too much and didn’t trust them enough, but the boy remained the same.

“Big brother~! It’s getting late~!” Anna knew the atmosphere was already heavy, so she tried to lighten it up a bit.

And it was effective as well since Eon looked up at her, and at the rest of them, before smiling helplessly and nodding his head with a helpless smile.

“Right… it’s getting late.”

They had done everything they could, now it was in the hands of fate.

“Yeah, let’s depart.” He nodded once again, and after looking at everyone one more time, he looked back, at the tall dark tower standing behind them.

They were going for a few days but as soon as they got out of this place, the time flow would change for them once again.

There would still be some difference from the time that they experience in the outside world, but it would not be as significant as inside the tower.

Getting used to it will take a little time, however they will be fine thanks to the capes that they were wearing.

The enchantments on it will help them get used to the world outside the boundary of the tower, and they will do much better.

“Zoe.” Nodding at the tower as if asking it to wait a little for them, Eon looked at Zoe and the little one who had been waiting for this day for a while now.

“Start the car.”

He gave her the signal and walked a step towards the party that he was going to lead.

“Alright~!”

“Yeiiiii~! Let’s gooooo~!”

“Be careful, you all!”

Zoe was taking Anna, Miss Moon, and their aunt Mime along with Quinny and Del. The six of them were together but Zoe, Miss Moon, and their Aunt Mime were going to look after the other three together.

They were also going to be looking after the environment around them. Miss Moon would check the surroundings with her great perception and unique skills, their Aunt Mime would look after anything interesting with his Mana detection, and Zoe would handle the vehicle.

Eon and Rein would look after the others outside together.

The people that were going to move with them were not few. To take care of all of them was no easy task, yet it was up to them to look after all of them.

Eon and Rein were going to have their own roles and they were going to be the guide of the group.

If Zoe and the two elders with her were in charge of the surroundings around them, the two of them were going to constantly keep an eye out for anything strange or for anything that might cause trouble.

Their grandpa was going to act on his own here as he actively engaged in any kind of battle that might arise. He was going to be the one in charge of anything that required force as well so he had a unique individual duty to keep.

The trio inside the Jeep would keep Anna safe and the two with them would help them. The Duo that was in charge of looking around the place would keep track of where they were going as well as what things were around them.

If there was something noteworthy, they would stop and collect it or mark it so that the drones that were connected to the Jeep would collect it for them.

The marking process would mainly be in the hands of Rein, while the observation part would be on Eon. With his three eyes and thanks to Celes, he was the best guide that they could ask for in this forest.

And, as someone with actual field experience, their grandfather was the best person to take care of any matter that might arise in the movement process.

If there is any creature blocking their way, a [King] knight was obviously much better to deal with it than the young ones that were with them.

Eon had made these arrangements so the three-two-one distribution was something that made the most sense to the rest of the party as well.

“Starting the engine~!”

-Bhrummmmmmm…!

-Brum! Brum!

“Wowwww~!”

The sound of the engine firing was quite pleasing for the boys. Even Carla liked this… she wanted to be inside the car as well, but she knew it was much better to stay out.

They had made these arrangements after a lot of debates so, for the time being, everyone knew there was no way to change the orders.

They were happy to be going out for the first time, so they focused on that aspect as they stood around the Jeep with an excited expression.

“I hope you’ll keep up with us, everyone~!” Zoe shouted one last time and then, she raised up the windows and shifted the gears, manipulating the power output on the magical display dashboard before her!

-Vroooooooooooom!

The speed at which the vehicle dashed forward was quite astonishing for the rest of them. But they had expected this much.

“Let us go as well!”

-Swish!

They had to keep up with an absolute beast of machinery so the movement techniques that they had practiced until now were going to be tested vigorously for the next few days.

‘Thankfully they were wearing seat belts.’

Eon and the rest of them moved with their movement techniques, skills, or with magic. They had artifacts to help them, even enchantments that Eon specially put on their belongings, so the movement was much smoother and easier.

Though…

The vehicle was very fast, but it could still not beat the (Blink) and the {Light steps} that he had.

-Ooooooooooong!

The gates to the barrier, the twin white trees with colorful blue-white leaves were the only exit from this barrier dome.

As Eon exited it along with his grandpa and Rein who followed right beside him, they exited the boundary of the tower and entered a world that Eon had known very well at one point in time.

Following closely to the three of them were the vehicle and Zoe, and right after them were Carla and the rest of them including the president, Alf, and Chry.

The world they had just exited and the world that they had just entered were two distinct places.

There are going to be many things they must look out for here, but first… they should admire the scenery present right outside of their house.

It was a magical thing, as Anna could tell at a glance.
